Along with our aerospace experience, we have a longstanding history in the deep-sea submersible industry. To some these fields seem unrelated, but if examined closely the similarities are plentiful and many aerospace engineers work on deep sea vehicles.

OutsideInnovation's founder served as the Head of Engineering for the Roatan Institute of Deepsea Exploration from 2016-2018 and currently is a contract engineer and ops team member for the National Deep Submergence Facility at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Our experience in this sector spans MUVs, ROVs, and AUVs and we have completed numerous projects to support researchers and scientific equipment. We understand the nuances and challenges of developing hardware for use in deep-sea environments, working with scientists and researchers, and safely operating this equipment on the surface and under the sea.
